Hell

Aaron seized on the table and lay still. The equipment in the room announced his death. Lights flashed behind his eyes and a sinking feeling took him to another place. A beautiful angel, with black feathered wings and the figure of a Barbie doll, came into focus.

"Welcome to hell." She said with a smile.

Aaron blinked. "Hell?"

"Yes." The angel replied, still smiling. "You may want to close your eyes. The next part is a little disorienting."

Aaron stared and the Angel shrugged. He felt a breeze on his cheek as they sped through space. If he had a stomach it would have turned up.

"This must be a mistake." Persisted Aaron. "I can't be in hell."

The angel sighed and opened a thick oak door. She led Aaron into a room that looked suspiciously like his living room. It was cleaner and newer than her remembered but otherwise it was an exact replica.

"This will all make sense in time but for now make yourself at home." The Angel explained patiently.

"But..." Aaron asked as the angel walked to the door. "I'm dead...right?"

The angel nodded.

"And this," Aaron waved at the room, "is the afterlife? Eternity?"

"Eternity?" The Angel said with a laugh. "No!"

She turned away still laughing.

"You humans." The angel said as she stepped thought the door. "So shortsighted."

And then he was alone. Aaron stood turned around, taking in his surroundings. His favorite chair was in perfect condition and when he sat down it fit just right. Aaron heard an electrical sound, like the whir of a blender. He nearly jumped out of his chair when a beautiful woman came to stand in front of him. She handed him a perfectly chilled margarita.

"This can't be hell." He told the woman.

"Oh it is." A second women told him.

This time Aaron did jump out of his chair. The two perfect women, a blond and a redhead, regarded him. The blond was dressed in a pink teddy and the redhead in black leather.

"We're your companions." The blond said. "I'm Good and she's Evil."
